  hi-sincerity microelectronics group. spec. no. : ic200914 issued date : 2009.08.12 revised date :2010,01,18 page no. : 1/6 H177 hsmc product specification H177 sip-3l package single output hall effect latch ic general description H177 is an integrated hall effect latched sensor with output pull-high resistor driver designed for electronic commutation of brus hless dc motor applications and contactless switches. the device includes an on-chip hall voltage gen erator for magnetic sensing, a comparat or that amplifies t he hall voltage, and a schmitt trigger to provide switching hysteresis for noise reject ion, and output driver with pull-high resistor. an internal ban dgap regulator is used to provide temperatur e compensated supply voltage for internal circuits and allows a wide operating supply range.if a magnetic flux density larger than threshold bop, do is turned on (low). t he output state is held until a magnetic fl ux density reversal falls below brp causing do to be turned off (high). H177 is rated for operation over temperature range from -20 to 85 and voltage range from 3.5v to 28v. the devices are available in low cost die forms or rugged 3 pin sip packages. features ? wide range of supply voltage: 3.5v to 28v. ? internal bandgap regulator allows temperature comp ensated operations and a wide operating voltage range. ? high sensitivity with a small magnet. ? ttl and mos ics directly drivable by output. ? build in protection diode for chip reverse power connecting. ? package: sip-3l. applications ? brushless dc motor ? brushless dc fan ? position sensors ? rotation sensors ? revolution counting ? speed measurement ? keyboard switches ? micro-switches
